A learning expedition
into the realm of lean management.

This team event was designed for the leaders of the company, with the goal to make the idea of lean management more tangible and anchor it firmly in the company culture. The role of the leader was particularly important in this context.
Lean management ensures optimized performance in a company by means of consistent customer orientation, consistent processes, transparent action, and continuous improvement. The fact that leaders and managers – as drivers of this change – have to be role models is often neglected.
As a first step, we worked out the design and content of the 2-day dialogue forum together with the board members. This large group event was carried out in the form of a learning expedition.
Over the course of two days, 120 executives experienced the topic of lean management in the form of workshops, lectures, and company visits. Above all, the underlying attitude was made clear in order to be able to become effective as a role model.
We knew we had reached our goal when prototypes were developed on the second day, which were then carried to the organization for implementation.
With this learning expedition, we have achieved that the participants have reached a radical change of perspective within a very short time. New impulses to other companies, new methods, and optimized processes have created a deeper understanding of lean management.
